According to the details provided, officers responded at approximately 8:30 p.m. to reports of gunfire at Kabuki Hibachi & Juicy Seafood & Bar, near Goodman Road and Interstate Boulevard. Conrad was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds and transported to Baptist DeSoto Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The shooting also left two other men injured. Conrad’s brother sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was taken to Baptist East Hospital before being transferred to Regional One Medical Center, where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A third man, 25-year-old Marterius McShane, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was also transported to Regional One.
Investigators reportedly interviewed witnesses and reviewed video footage as they worked to establish what happened. According to police, McShane is alleged to have shot Conrad and his brother before fleeing the scene. Authorities also said an unidentified person shot McShane in the leg in the parking lot. McShane was detained at Regional One Medical Center on a murder warrant in connection with Conrad’s death. The allegations remain subject to the legal process.
