La Crosse Shooting: Person Dies After a Fatal Gunfire on South Side

A fatal shooting in La Crosse, Wisconsin, has prompted an active police investigation after officers responded to reports of gunfire on the city’s South Side Thursday evening.

Police were called to the area near the intersection of 7th Street and Hood Street at approximately 5:20 p.m. following reports of shots fired.
