Dominguez, 44, whose life was tragically cut short following a shooting at the Bahama Bay Condominiums in Gulf Breeze, Florida, early Sunday morning, October 4, 2026. According to the Gulf Breeze Police Department, officers and Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported shooting at approximately 2:27 a.m. at Bahama Bay Condominiums, located at 201 Pensacola Beach Road.
When first responders arrived, they found Justin inside his apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities later identified him as 44-year-old Justin E. Dominguez.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. Authorities arrested Joshua Clark, 44, at the scene after locating him in possession of a firearm. Clark was taken into custody without incident and faces charges including manslaughter, two counts of aggravated assault, shooting into a dwelling, hit-and-run crash with property damage, and reckless driving. The charges are allegations, and the investigation remains active.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement was notified to process the scene, while the State Attorney’s Office was also notified and responded. Police said there was no ongoing threat to the public connected to the incident.
For Justin’s family and friends, however, the focus now extends far beyond the investigation. They are left facing the painful reality of losing someone they cared about and loved. No arrest, charge or investigation can erase the emptiness created by the sudden loss of a loved one.
