Pieper High School Shooting News – Lockdown Today: No Confirmed Shooting Reported in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Reports circulating about a possible lockdown or shooting at Pieper High School in San Antonio could not be independently confirmed as of the latest available information. Pieper High School, part of Comal Independent School District, is located at 1400 Kinder Parkway in north San Antonio. The school’s official website currently lists its regular October 6 activities and announcements, with no public notice identifying a shooting or lockdown at the campus.

No reliable current report reviewed for this article has confirmed that a shooting occurred at Pieper High School, nor has there been verified information establishing injuries, a suspect, an arrest or an active threat on the campus.

A separate Texas school-security incident occurred Monday in Elgin, where students at high school campuses were placed under lockdown after police notified the district of a possible threat. Authorities later determined the threat was not credible, and an all-clear was issued at approximately 2:20 p.m. Classes resumed afterward.

At this time, the available evidence does not establish that the Elgin incident was connected to Pieper High School or that a shooting occurred at the San Antonio campus.

Families and students should rely on official communications from Comal ISD and local law enforcement for confirmed information rather than unverified social-media reports.

As this remains a developing situation, additional information could emerge as authorities investigate or school officials issue further statements.
