The devastating incident occurred on the evening of October 5, 2026, at approximately 8:39 p.m., near the intersection of Illinois Route 15 and East 500 Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene following reports of the crash, where Rudy was found and later pronounced deceased by the Wabash County Coroner’s Office.
